Everyone is fighting for the throne, with threats like the Marquis of Mars, the Viscount of Venus and the Santa Claus-looking Earl of Earth all at war. This scares Rick because he hasn’t seen a riot like this since the Galactic Federation.
Granted, this society has taken care of the entire universe, but here the eight planets seize control and kill each other, which Rick knows will destroy their home world. As Rick voiced the first War of the Sun, it was clear that he and Morty needed to clean up the drama, especially compared to what fans saw on HBO’s Game of Thrones, with so many people in the universe Died in the twist.
